After working as a trustee at a medium-sized law firm, Jelle Beerens has been associated with Van Iersel Luchtman Advocaten since 2022. He is a member of the Restructuring & Insolvency Law and IP/IT & Privacy Law sections. He is also active in various guest lectureships.
From insolvency to data law
Jelle's expertise lies in bankruptcy law and intellectual property law. In addition to his specialization training in insolvency law for trustees, he specialized in big data, artificial intelligence and law. Data companies know where to find him for drafting license agreements or data sharing agreements, for example. With a great deal of expertise, he advises software and gaming entrepreneurs, among others, on the optimal design of their company in order to limit bankruptcy risks. He also assists companies in restructuring issues, the positioning of IP rights and directors' liability issues.
