Environmental law
Wilbert specializes in environmental law, such as spatial planning law. He advises and litigates on many environmental matters, assisting companies in procedures for land-use plans, environmental permits, water permits, and enforcement. Wilbert also frequently acts as a counsel in criminal cases, particularly in environmental criminal law and accidents at work. In particular, he specializes in waste, fertilizer, and building-materials law. Wilbert is a valuable partner for many waste-processing companies and building-material producers.

He has successfully completed the specialist programme in Spatial Planning and Environmental Law cum laude at the renowned Grotius Academy law school. He is also a member of the Dutch Association of Environmental Lawyers and writes articles for Recycling Magazine Benelux and BEwerken.

Drive and strategic insight
Clients describe Wilbert as a dedicated lawyer, who acts in a targeted manner. In close consultation with his colleagues, he stands alongside his clients, come what may. His drive and strategic insight are particularly valued. Wilbert has learned how to judge his opponent, without underestimating them. He has a gift for casting doubt over what his opponents believe to be a solid case before the judge. In short: Wilbert is always looking for that ‘checkmate’, so that his clients achieve maximum results.
